I originally come from a commercial and sales orientated background. However I have always felt that there was much more to life and and when the opportunity came to re- train I took it. I became a fully qualified therapist in massage, crystal healing, ear candling etc and also started my Reiki path. Once I had completed my Reiki first degree I realised how powerful the Reiki energy is and started to use Reiki on myself to start my own healing process. I began to feel that I had to progress, and so eventually I became a Master teacher. I then discovered Karuna Reiki and so my journey continued and led me to the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal where I took the attunement for Karuna practitioner. On my return to the UK I continued into Karuna Master teacher. Reiki is a big part of my life and I enjoy passing this amazing healing modality onto others. It is wonderful to watch the energy help others to heal and grow.
I was introduced into meditation during my Reiki first degree, and once again I knew I had to explore the various forms that meditation can take. I have studied Transcendental Meditation, Visualisation Meditation, I have meditated with Buddhist Monks and spent time in Glastonbury in retreat with a Bon monk called Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche originally from Tibet but now based in USA see www.bonshenling.org. Whilst in retreat I studied Sangye Menlha- Medicine Buddha and received the Sangye Menlha transmission which is revered as one of the most powerful blessings for healing.
I have also been lucky enough to spend time with two very powerful mediums and have experienced spirit through their help. One of them, Chris Wade has developed a life changing workshop called ' Love Heals' based on the work of Louise Hay. I have been privileged to become a facilitator for this workshop after attending it myself and experiencing first hand the wonderful life changing gift that learning to love yourself can bring.
